The golf course owner is responsible for the upkeep of his property whether it is running as a business or sitting dormant.

Our mission in reporting the code violations is to cause the owner financial penalties. Over time this financial burden will add up substantially because at some point it will become a daily fine.

It is our hope that eventually it will become financially unfeasible for the owner to continue to let the land sit. The longer he pays these fees the more it cuts into his general profits of his entire Corporation.

What we might have here is a staring contest!

We need to be patient.

Our goal here is to beat him at his own game.

 It is believed that this will be nothing more than a waiting game. Who can stick out the longest. 

We must be tolerant of the overgrowth!!

No matter what, it will be better than the alternative.
The worst that can happen is that it will return to the natural Florida landscape and we will have a preserve. Which is far better than construction noise for years to come. The preserve will continue to offer a natural habitat for our beautiful birds and other Florida native wildlife. This again is far better than the alternative of 2 story homes looking down on to yours!

Report every violation as it will hinder the owner. If we tolerate it, visually, we are destined to win out.

No matter the degradation over time of the land,  it can always be refurbished to allow it to operate as a golf course again. When we stop the rezoning there will be no other choice but to sell the land for the use that the zoning allows.
